Bunger Surfboards

Charlie Bunger has been in the business of building surfboards for just over 40 years and is still at it today.  He started building boards in 1962 in a garage in his backyard in Lindenhurst Long Island.  His name has been mentioned in the same sentence with many of the great board manufactures around the country.  Over the years Charlie has turned his love for building surfboards into a family business.  He currently has a retail establishment in the Village of Babylon that is run by himself, his wife Janet, and his children, Theresa, Susan, Charlie Jr, and Tommy.  Bunger Surf Shop is one of the oldest surf shops in America and his children are sure not going to end this great family tradition any time soon.

East Coast Shaper,  10.0 1970’s  pin tail. Cool breeze baby blue with overlap black pin line. Barely ridden.  I purchased this in a package deal with Pin Tail Mike.  Recently sold it on Ebay,  had to make room for others.  Many can understand this dilemma.  I thought I would share it with you.  Enjoy.
