Wave Tools
Lance is the same shaper from the 70’s that shaped all of the Wave Tools boards. He started shaping in 1969. Lance originally made Hot Lip Surfboards. In the early 80’s his neon boards dotted the coast for miles spilling out from the Eco Beach scene. He was shaping there in the early 80’s when an aggressive surfing style began to change the way people rode waves. He taught guys like Mike Estrada to shape. His son Richie Collins started shaping because of his father. He watched him as a little boy and wanted to be just like him. Richie shaped most of the boards he rode on the World Surfing Tour.

This is your typical Wave Tools 80’s Board. Alot goin on here. with all the vibrant colors, lams etc. Remember the third trail box fin set-up? If to tight, take out the third fin and make it a twinnie. All original, double wing swallow tail. This is another rider I have not ridden yet. Some day soon. Again in HB or NP.(o) 8/10
