Union

UNION

Acid Splash Union Keel Twinnie.  I believe Union was based on the East coast .  I acquired this board out of the Nordine Collection and he acquired it from Pat Magee out of Texas.  This board either grows on you or bores on you.   But regardless, nice representation of what was and color work.  All original with the exception of some ding repairs.   This is in my pile of “Want to Ride” so stay tuned .  B

KEY: O= Original, R= Repaired, RF= Refurbished. Condition of board rated: 1(worst)-10(best)

Hi l’m Russ Oliveri .My brother Vinny and I manufactured Union Surfboard’s in Lindenhurst Long Island from 69 thru 75 .The board was not what we would have called a fish it was probably made late summer 73 and was a twin fin sallow at 6’5” no Union fish where longer than5’10” and the shape was very differance. The color work was done iny me in the glossing room expect for the solid bottom color that was added to the glassing resin. This predated air brushing for us.I manufacture doors and windows in Florida now and would love to talk to you if you’d like.
